Mary Kehoe

A Burlington attorney with more than 30 years’ experience, Mary is passionate about her work and dedicated to helping clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. Raised in Vermont, she received her bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and her law degree from Syracuse University, graduating cum laude.

Mary started her career as a law clerk, first in Chittenden Superior Court and then in the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont under Franklin S. Billings, Jr. She was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 1984 and to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1995.

She worked for many years as a partner in one of Burlington’s most established law firms before opening her own firm.  Having her own firm allows Mary to focus her attention on her clients without the distraction of large firm management.

An experienced divorce lawyer, she has represented hundreds of clients in family matters, focusing on cases with complex marital estates such as family trusts, partnerships and business assets. Mary also has handled significant personal injury cases and complex commercial litigation.  Mary has continued in these areas of practice in her new firm and looks forward to the opportunity to represent you.
